Following the massive success of his 4th solo album ‘Hand. Cannot. Erase.’ which shot to number 13 on the UK Official Album Charts, and his recent sold out UK tour, Steven Wilson, has announced that he will take over the Royal Albert Hall for two new shows and an exhibition this September. Taking place on Monday 28 September and Tuesday 29 September, tickets go on sale at 09:00am, Friday 27 March 2015 here

The four-time Grammy nominee, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, Steven Wilson has created an incredible body of work, from his four solo albums through to his origins as Porcupine Tree, and multiple side projects, these new Royal Albert Hall shows will for the first time explore the breadth of his career, creating two entirely different shows across the two days. This special Royal Albert Hall takeover will also include an art exhibition in the Elgar Room featuring original artwork, limited edition prints and photos from Steven’s album releases. An important part of Steven’s vision to enhance the album listening experience and story-telling, the works by Lasse Hoile, Carl Glover, Hajo Mueller, and other artists will not only be on display for all ticket-holders, but will also be available for purchase.

Already his best selling album to date, debuting at #39 on the US Billboard Chart and #3 in Germany, ‘Hand. Cannot. Erase’ mirrors the chillingly true story of a 38 year-old girl called Joyce Karol Vincent who died alone in a bedsit in Wood Green in 2003 and, through a perfect storm of tragic circumstances, remained undiscovered for over two years. Hand. Cannot. Erase. perfects a lyrical and melodic journey of living in the city in today’s day and age.

More show details and very special guests to be announced shortly.
