Parklife: Heaton Park, Manchester
Wild Life: Brighton City Airport

Sister festivals Parklife and WILD LIFE have announced names for their 2016 editions, taking over Manchester and Brighton respectively on 11th & 12th June.

Having successfully sold out both weekend festivals last year well in advance – WILD LIFE sold out within 72 hours - the much-anticipated returns of Parklife and WILD LIFE are set to showcase line-ups that span dance, indie, pop and hip-hop with an array of stellar live acts, up-and coming talent and world-class DJs. With Parklife now in its seventh year and positioned as the UK’s fastest growing festival, its Brighton counterpart launched in 2015 and saw Disclosure come together with Rudimental to expand their hugely successful brand of live shows.

Announced to perform are hip-hop kingpins Ice Cube and Busta Rhymes, whilst British four-piece Bastille will perform alongside BBC Sound of 2016 winner Jack Garratt and grime representatives Skepta and Stormzy. Legendary disco outfit Earth, Wind & Fire experience ft Al McKay are set to deliver a masterclass in jazz, funk and R & B, with further headline performances coming from bass figureheads Andy C and DJ EZ.

Parklife’s 2016 line-up sees them collaborate with esteemed club brands and labels MTA, Bugged Out!, Elrow, Ram Jam, Paradise and local promoters Now Wave, who will together welcome appearances from Jamie XX, Chase & Status, Armand Van Helden, Groove Armada, Eats Everything, Andy C, Jamie Jones and Kaytranada alike. Lady of the moment and Rudimental associate Anne Marie will appear at WILD LIFE, with a hoard of UK talent also confirmed including house music maestro Carl Cox plus James Bay, Kano and Lady Leshurr - who will appear across various stages hosted by Supercharged, Warehouse Project presents, Kurupt FM and Tropical.

With a staggering 10,000 early bird tickets for Parklife already being snapped up in only two hours, tickets for both shows are expected to sell out very quickly.
General tickets for Parklife and WILD LIFE will go on sale at 9am on Thursday 11th January.
